About us
Peer Link Initiative Uganda (PELI-U) is a youth, children and women focused nongovernmental organization that operates in Uganda Kampala and Rukungiri Districts. PELI-U focuses on equipping youth and women with skills for income generation and self reliance.
Background
Currently we have established Nyarushanje Community Library and Empowerment through which we train youth and women of Rukungiri District in Cookery and Food Hygiene and Tailoring – Bag making.
Our Campaign
We would like to start One Stop Business Points (PELI-U / Nyarushanje Café, for
1. Bakery, 2. Books 3. Locally made Crafts- through which we plan to continue training highly skilled youth and women in baking technology and cookery and food hygiene- improve the quality of our products and increase our production. The section for books and magazine will be available to customers as they wait for their orders.
